The candidate should be ready to be responsible for developing automation testing for Automotive features. He will be working with feature owners and the software development team to understand their needs in order to automate the verification of features. He will:
• Collaborate cross-functionalities with technical specialists, feature owners, development teams and other test teams in support of testing and development activities of Automotive features.
• Develop test framework deployment schemes to ensure repeatable, deterministic test environments.
• Develop automation scripts and tools for automotive features, data analysis and testing environments.
• Define the test setup required to support validation and verification activities needed and support test bench brings up.
• Contribute to team results through ownership in agile scrum development sprints.
• Implement continuous improvement and best practices within the team and the larger organization.
Required Skills:
1. Bachelor or higher in engineering, computer science, computer application with practical engineering experience.
2. Minimum work experience: 5 years
3. Talented software developer with 1+ years of experience using Python language.
4. Familiar with Linux/Unix environment.
Preferred Skills:
1. Experience in the Automotive domain or another embedded system project.
2. Experience in developing a test automation systems.
3. Understands software fundamentals including CI/CD, code modularity and maintainability.
4. Ability to identify and contribute software fixes quickly and accurately in a fast-paced development environment.
5. Experience in test case management systems, defect tracking tools (e.g.; JIRA), source code versioning control systems (e.g.; GitHub).
6. Positive attitude and adaptability to changing priorities.
