Job Description

• Integrate content into release branches
• Setup build and release frameworks for our ECU software
• Package build artefacts into images which are ready to be loaded on the targets
• Develop loading tools to load images on the targets
• Develop automation tools to install and update vendor software releases

EDUCATIONAL GUIDELINES

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or Computer Engineering

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Experience in embedded-system development environment
• In depth experience with git and using GitHub specifically (including the GitHub REST API) is required
• Experience in the building systems like Linux and QNX. Must have experience with Yocto/BitBake and  buildroot
• Knowledge about packaging for embedded-system targets
• Knowledge about loading mechanism in fastboot mode and software upgrade for embedded-system
• Experience in writing both Python and Shell scripts
• Experience in writing C/C++ programs
• Proficiency in Linux or Unix operating systems and Windows required
• In-depth experience using JIRA (including the JIRA REST API) and JIRA dashboards and JQL queries would be an asset
• Excellent analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills like fixing build errors
• Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels
