Job description :

Lab set-up from scratch
Install OS, drivers, etc. following BKCs via automation framework
Proficient in (windows/Linux)
Basic system and validation triage via KVM's
Perform basic lab/device execution following defined procedures
Log failures – supported by Sr. Tech/eng.
Support technician experiments and tasks following senior technicians and engineers direction
Basic inventory management
Read/Update job results as well as configuration databases
Basic triage of failures and sighting filings
System config/maintenance/ SW updating (exclude mass system hw rework)
Ability to recover dead systems/platforms quickly and with some guidance from a technician L3/L4
Perform remote and manual lab execution
Provide team procedure feedback improvements upon request
Independent detailed triage of system and test failures
Automation (basic scripting understanding, ability to modify scripts)
Clear technical communication is written/verbally to Operations Manager – status reporting
Interpret test results and action needed to improve quality and efficiency
Engage with customer (s) engineering in technical discussion to drive improvements
Demonstrate working knowledge of the supporting technology
Read schematic (HW) or able to read/follow scripting (SW)
